#FitnessFriday – Mountain Climbers
Mountain climbers are an effective full body exercise that targets core stability, upper body strength, and hip flexors.
- Starting in a plank or push up position, engage the core and set the shoulder blades down and back so they are away from the ears.
- Make sure your glutes and hips are down so there is a nice straight line from the head all the way to the heels.
- While supporting your body weight on your hands and feet, lift one knee up towards the elbow, stopping once the knee is right under the hip to maintain the straight body line.
- Straighten out the leg and then repeat on the other side.
